Georgina Bustelo
B.A. in Piano – M.M. in Piano Performance

Georgina Bustelo is a pianist and educator in the Moscow-Pullman area, maintaining an active private piano studio. She´s dedicated to providing top-notch instruction to students of all ages, constantly seeking the best materials and tools to enhance their learning experience and deepen their connection with music.
Born and raised in Argentina, Georgina embarked on her musical journey by studying piano at an artistic school with a comprehensive musical curriculum. Her formative years were immersed in music, providing the perfect backdrop for cultivating her passion. Her piano studies led her to pursue higher education, earning a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance with honors from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, under the mentorship of Professor Roberto Urbay. During her undergraduate years, Georgina achieved recognition as a finalist at the XII International Piano Competition “Claudio Arrau” in Chile, where she received a “Mention of Honor” and “The Best Interpretation of the Compulsory Masterpiece”. Subsequently, she won a student´s competition at the University, earning the opportunity to perform the Ravel Piano Concerto in G Major with a professional orchestra.
Georgina continued her education with graduate studies under the guidance of Dr. Kevin Robert Orr in the United States. She received a Master of Music degree with a focus on Piano Performance from the University of Florida, garnering recognition for “Outstanding Academic Achievement”. Georgina also participated in the “Valtidone International Music Festival” in Italy and engaged in several master classes led by internationally acclaimed professors.
Following her graduation from UF, Georgina and her husband relocated to The Netherlands for six years. During this period, she successfully operated a private Piano Studio, nurturing a wonderful group of students across various ages and skill levels. Another job opportunity for her husband brought them to Moscow, Idaho, where Georgina has established her private Piano Studio since 2021 and continues to operate.
Georgina´s professional experience encompasses teaching piano in artistic schools, serving as a piano lab instructor for undergraduate students during her assistantship at UF, and operating her private Piano Studio in The Netherlands. She has also worked as an accompanist for various choirs, orchestras, and solo instruments. As a performer, her repertoire includes solo and chamber music, spanning from the Baroque period to contemporary pieces.
As President of the Moscow Music Teacher Association (MMTA) since 2024, Georgina leads the organization of the Northern Idaho Piano Festival. Her membership in the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) since 2023 has allowed her to connect with fellow piano educators and actively involve her Piano Studio in events hosted by the Pullman-Moscow chapter.
